As a child of divorce, Founder and Mediator Stacy Scruggs witnessed first-hand the damage of contested divorce and has made it her mission to offer families a more peaceful and dignified alternative to protracted litigation and high conflict co-parenting. Stacy has a diverse background that includes extensive experience in the entertainment industry in an administrative and a managerial role as well as serving in a Constituent Services role for the office of Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam. Stacy served as the Emergency Services coordinator and first official Constituent Services Representative for The Tennessee Department of Veterans Services and also has a solid foundation in personal injury litigation. She received a Master of Arts in Conflict Management with the Institute for Conflict Management at Lipscomb University graduating magna cum laude, a Bachelor of Science in Communication from Belmont University, cum laude, as well as an Associate of Applied Sciences in Paralegal Studies, magna cum laude, approved by the Bar. Stacy is a member of the Tennessee Association of Professional Mediators and serves as a Mediator with the Nashville Conflict Resolution Center. Objective Mediation offers services throughout the state of Tennessee.
